ach child who comes to North America for treatment of a life-threatening heart defect receives the finest quality medical care and returns home with a chance to life a full, healthy life. More importantly, many of the children and their parents return home with the promise of eternal life after putting their faith in Jesus Christ.
While in the country, the patients and their mothers stay with a Christian family that volunteers its time and its home. The hosts take their visitors to church, and demonstrate the love of Christ through their words and actions. As a result, several of the patients and their families have received Christ and taken the Gospel message back to their homelands.
