Pray for Worker Abducted in Sudan

Prayers still are needed as captivity reaches 100 days for Samaritan’s Purse worker abducted in Sudan

Wednesday, Aug. 25, marks the 100th day of captivity for the Samaritan's Purse staff member who was kidnapped in Darfur while participating in our relief efforts in western Sudan. Please continue to pray for the release of our worker, for safety, and for God's peace.

Two other staff members who were also abducted were later released, and we are working through every available channel to secure the freedom of the remaining hostage.

Samaritan’s Purse has been working in Darfur since 2004, distributing food to more than 200,000 people displaced by ethnic conflict.

Please also remember to pray for family members and for the Samaritan's Purse team on the ground in Sudan.

...In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6b, NIV).
