Hurricane Melissa Relief

Samaritan's Purse is responding to the devastation on Jamaica brought by Hurricane Melissa. We have airlifted an Emergency Field Hospital to the island and began treating patients Nov. 5 in the devastated coastal town of Black River. Multiple airlifts have carried more than 398,000 pounds of relief to the island. Additional flights are scheduled as we bring in community water systems, household filters, solar lights, hygiene kits, medical supplies, cooking kits, shelter materials, and more.
