Official Contest Rules for National Alpaca Day Giveaway<\/h3>\r\n\t\t

By participating in this contest and submitting your comment to enter this contest (the \u201cContest\u201d), you (\u201cContestant\u201d) accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:<\/p>\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t

  1. Dates<\/strong>
    The Contest runs for one day only, Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, ending at 11:59 p.m. EDT (\u201cContest Period\u201d).<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
  2. Eligibility<\/strong>
    The Contest is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who are 18 years or older. You must comply with all Terms and Conditions. Employees, immediate family members of employees, and directors or contractors of Samaritan\u2019s Purse or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are not eligible for prizes.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
  3. Submission Requirements<\/strong>\r\n\t\t\t\t
      \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    1. Samaritan\u2019s Purse will promote the Contest by posting on Facebook and Instagram (a \u201cPromotional Post\u201d). Contestants must post a comment in response to a Samaritan\u2019s Purse Promotional Post (Contestant\u2019s comment is referred to as a \u201csubmitted comment\u201d).<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    2. Your submitted comment must answer the question: \u201cHow will your family be packing shoebox gifts this season?\u201d<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    3. You are encouraged to enter multiple submitted comments throughout the Contest Period.<\/li> \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    4. Submitted comments must be posted visible to public.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    5. You must be the sole, original author of your submitted comment.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    6. Changes may not be made to a submitted comment once it has been posted.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    7. Submitted comments must not contain any material that infringes another\u2019s rights, including without limitation material that violates intellectual property rights, including without limitation copyright, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights, or include trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculptures, except those owned by Samaritan\u2019s Purse. Submitted comments must not include pictures or depictions of third parties, including without limitation minors, celebrities, and friends who have not expressly authorized Contestant to display their image or likeness in any submitted comment.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
    8. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to hide or delete any submitted comment for any reason.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
    9. Submission Rights<\/strong>
      You retain rights to your submitted comments; however, by entering the Contest, you grant Samaritan\u2019s Purse a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of the submitted comment, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, in furtherance of Samaritan\u2019s Purse non-profit purpose. Samaritan\u2019s Purse is not obligated to provide any design credit, although it may choose to do so. Samaritan\u2019s Purse shall not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with any uses of the submitted comments.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
    10. Winner Selection<\/strong>\r\n\t\t\t\t
        \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
      1. Submissions will be judged by Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li> \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
      2. Up to twenty (20) winning submitted comments will be selected per Weekly Entry Period based on their originality, creativity, potential to engage shoebox packers, and adherence to Contest submission requirements.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
      3. Winning Contestants (\u201cwinners\u201d) will be notified by the Monday following the close of the Contest Period. Notification will be made by Samaritan\u2019s Purse via direct message or reply to the winner\u2019s submitted comment. The message or reply will provide further instructions for claiming the Prize.<\/li> \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
      4. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to disqualify any submission for any reason, and winning submitted comments will be the final decision of Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t
      5. Prizes<\/strong>\r\n\t\t\t\t
          \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
        1. Each Prize consists of an Alpaca Shoebox T-shirt and an alpaca keychain. Shipping costs are included in the Prize.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
        2. If no eligible submissions are entered, no Prizes will be awarded. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to make a Prize substitution in the event that force majeure events make the Prize impossible or inadvisable in the sole discretion of Samaritan\u2019s Purse. Force majeure as used herein means acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disaster, or other events of a similar nature or force.<\/li> \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
        3. Winners may not transfer or substitute a Prize except at Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s sole discretion.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
        4. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. It is the sole responsibility of winners to provide information to Samaritan\u2019s Purse in order to facilitate receipt of a Prize, including completing and submitting any tax forms when necessary. It is also the sole responsibility of winners to satisfy any applicable reporting requirements.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
        5. Verification of Eligibility and Claiming of Prize<\/strong>\r\n\t\t\t\t
            \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
          1. Prize awards are subject to Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s verification of winners\u2019 identity and eligibility.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
          2. To receive a Prize, winners must comply with instructions provided by Samaritan\u2019s Purse in the message or comment notifying the winner of their selection. Winners will be asked to reply to the direct message with their shirt size and mailing address or send Samaritan\u2019s Purse a confirmation email with their shirt size and mailing address in order to receive the Prize by mail. If the message is not responded to or the confirmation email is not received by Samaritan\u2019s Purse within five (5) calendar days of Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s winner notification post, the Prize is forfeited. Do not<\/span> include any address or personal information in your social media comments.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
          3. In the event of a disqualification, Samaritan\u2019s Purse, at its sole discretion, may award the Prize to an alternate Contestant.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t

BY ENTERING A SUBMISSION, YOU RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS SAMARITAN\u2019S PURSE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, EXPENSES, AND LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR ANY USE OF A SUBMISSION AS AUTHORIZED BY THESE OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t

            4. General Conditions<\/strong>\r\n\t\t\t\t

              1. This Contest is void where prohibited.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
              2. Information collected from you will be subject to Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s privacy policy.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
              3. By entering the Contest, you give Samaritan\u2019s Purse permission to contact you regarding subject matter related to the Contest as well as the ministry work of Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
              4. Samaritan\u2019s Purse is vested with sole authority to interpret and apply the Official Contest Rules.<\/li> \r\n\t\t\t\t\t
