Damos gracias a Dios por este avi\u00f3n que nos permite transportar muchos m\u00e1s suministros, de forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y eficiente que nunca.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                    <p>En su vuelo inaugural, el 767 envi\u00f3 a Gaza m\u00e1s de 290 000 paquetes de alimentos suplementarios para mujeres y ni\u00f1os afectados. M\u00e1s recientemente, tras el paso del hurac\u00e1n Melissa por Jamaica, pudo transportar un hospital m\u00f3vil de emergencia en un solo vuelo. Esta mayor capacidad permiti\u00f3 una respuesta r\u00e1pida a las islas de Saip\u00e1n y Tinian despu\u00e9s de que el tif\u00f3n Sinlaku causara estragos en las Islas Marianas del Norte.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                    <p>El Boeing 767 opera desde nuestro Centro de Respuesta A\u00e9rea de Greensboro, en Carolina del Norte, lo que permite que nuestros equipos de respuesta para asistencia en caso de desastre est\u00e9n listos para partir en cualquier momento y brindar ayuda vital en el nombre de Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\r\n                    \r\n                    <p>Nuestra flota tambi\u00e9n incluye helic\u00f3pteros, aeronaves ligeras y un avi\u00f3n DC-3. Desde nuestro vuelo a Ecuador tras el terremoto de 2016, hemos podido desplegar estos hospitales m\u00f3viles y salvar innumerables vidas con atenci\u00f3n de emergencia y servicios quir\u00fargicos.<\/p>\r\n                <p style=\"max-width: 29rem!important;\">Samaritan's Purse tambi\u00e9n ha desplegado el hospital m\u00f3vil a ra\u00edz de brotes de enfermedades epid\u00e9micas en Italia y Bangladesh, as\u00ed como de tormentas tropicales en el Caribe, Honduras y Mozambique.<\/p>\r\n                <p style=\"max-width: 29rem!important;\">Al estallar la guerra en Ucrania, realizamos m\u00e1s de 40 misiones de transporte a\u00e9reo al pa\u00eds para trasladar hospitales m\u00f3viles de emergencia, personal m\u00e9dico y otros especialistas en ayuda humanitaria, as\u00ed como para brindar asistencia a la naci\u00f3n devastada por el conflicto. A total of 556 of these planes were produced from 1958-1972. <\/li>\r\n                        <li>Our DC-8 came off the assembly line on Dec. 24, 1968. <\/li>\r\n                        <li>Samaritan\u2019s Purse purchased the plane in 2015 from an Australian cargo carrier just before it was set to be turned into scrap parts. <\/li>\r\n                        <li>Samaritan\u2019s Purse inspected and refurbished the airplane to ensure it met FAA standards. <\/li>\r\n                        <li>The DC-8 made its inaugural journey in April 2016, less than 24 hours after the FAA gave final sign-off. Samaritan\u2019s Purse airlifted an Emergency Field Hospital, doctors, nurses, and disaster response specialists to Ecuador in response to a 7.8-magnitude earthquake. <\/li>\r\n                        <li>In 2023, we opened the 64,000-square-foot Greensboro Airlift Response Center in North Carolina to house both our Douglas DC-8 and the Boeing 757 freighter. <strong>After nearly a decade of service, delivering relief all over the world, the DC-8 is scheduled to be retired in late 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n                    <\/ul>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n            <\/section>\r\n            -->\r\n            <!--JETS JOURNEY SECTION-->\r\n            \r\n            \r\n            <!--EFH SECTION-->\r\n            <!--\r\n            <section class=\"efh\">\r\n                <h3>International Emergency Relief<\/h3>\r\n                <div>\r\n                    <p>In addition to Emergency Field Hospitals, the DC-8 also airlifts emergency relief supplies in the aftermath of devastating events, transporting relief such as shelter materials, solar lights, food, and medical teams.<\/p>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                    \r\n                <br\/>\r\n                <h3>Emergency Field Hospitals <\/h3>\r\n                <div>\r\n                    <p>The Ecuador airlift was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samaritanspurse.org\/article\/samaritans-purse-airlifts-field-hospital-to-ecuador\/\"><strong>the first of many DC-8 flights<\/strong><\/a> to transport our fully-equipped Emergency Field Hospital into disaster areas. Samaritan\u2019s Purse has also deployed the mobile hospital in the wake of epidemic disease outbreaks in Italy and Bangladesh; tropical storms in the Caribbean, Honduras, and Mozambique.<\/p>\r\n                    <p>The DC-8 conducted 42 airlift missions to war-torn Ukraine to transport Emergency Field Hospitals, medical and other disaster relief specialists, and to provide other aid to the war-torn country.
