Operation Christmas Child is on the lookout for quality shoeboxes packed in 2021!<\/h3>\r\n

We're seeking shoeboxes prayerfully filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items that will last—giving a boy or girl an unforgettable glimpse of God's great love for them!<\/p> \r\n\r\n

We thank God for all the shoeboxes packed and for the Gospel opportunities they represent. In this contest, we're specifically looking for great shoeboxes filled with quality contents, perhaps centered around a theme or with unique \"wow\" items to make them extra special. The boxes will be judged on originality and creativity\u2014not the cost of the items! Be creative!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

On Oct. 11, 18, and 25, Operation Christmas Child will post an invitation on Facebook for shoebox packers to share a photo of their best shoebox in the comments in order to be eligible for a special prize bundle. Each bundle may encourage even more shoebox packing with a $20 Hobby Lobby gift card, two soccer balls with pumps, and an Operation Christmas Child camel ornament. Winners will be announced weekly. \r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n

Official Contest Rules for Your Best Box Challenge<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

By participating in this contest and submitting your comment to enter this contest (the \u201cContest\u201d), you (\u201cContestant\u201d) accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:<\/p>
\r\n\r\n

  1. Dates<\/strong>
    The Contest runs October 11, 2021 \u2013 October 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EDT (\u201cContest Period\u201d). <\/li>\r\n\r\n
  2. Eligibility<\/strong>
    The Contest is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who are 18 years or older. You must comply with all Terms and Conditions. Employees, immediate family members of employees, and directors or contractors of Samaritan\u2019s Purse or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are not eligible for prizes.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
  3. Submission Requirements<\/strong>\r\n
      \r\n
    1. Samaritan's Purse will promote the Contest by posting on Facebook and Instagram (a \"Promotional Post\"). Contestants must post a Reply comment directly to the Promotional Post (Contestant's comment is referred to as a \"submitted comment\").<\/li>\r\n
    2. Your submitted comment must include a photo of your best-packed shoebox gift.<\/li>\r\n
    3. You are encouraged to enter multiple submitted comments throughout the Contest Period.<\/li> \r\n
    4. Submitted comments must be posted visible to public.<\/li>\r\n
    5. You must be the sole, original author of your submitted comment.<\/li>\r\n
    6. Changes may not be made to a submitted comment once it has been posted.<\/li>\r\n
    7. Submitted comments must not contain any material that infringes another's rights, including without limitation material that violates intellectual property rights, including without limitation copyright, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights, or include trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork or sculptures, except those owned by Samaritan's Purse. Submitted comments must not include pictures or depictions of third parties, including without limitation minors, celebrities and friends who have not expressly authorized Contestant to display their image or likeness in any submitted comment.<\/li>\r\n
    8. Samaritan's Purse reserves the right to hide or delete any submitted comment for any reason.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\t\r\n\r\n
    9. Submission Rights<\/strong>
      You retain rights to your submitted comments; however, by entering the Contest, you grant Samaritan's Purse a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the submitted comment, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, in furtherance of Samaritan's Purse non-profit purpose. Samaritan's Purse is not obligated to provide any design credit, although it may choose to do so. Samaritan's Purse shall not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with any uses of the submitted comments.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
    10. Winner Selection<\/strong>\r\n
        \r\n
      1. Submissions will be judged by Samaritan's Purse, in its sole discretion.<\/li> \r\n
      2. Up to twenty-five (25) winning submitted comments will be selected based on their originality and creativity of shoebox gift, quality of items, and adherence to Contest submission requirements.<\/li>\r\n
      3. Winning Contestants (\"winners\") will be notified by Wednesday, November 3. Notification will be made by Samaritan's Purse via Direct Message to the winner through Facebook. The reply will provide further instructions for claiming the Prize.<\/li> \r\n
      4. Samaritan's Purse reserves the right to disqualify any submission for any reason, and winning submitted comments will be the final decision of Samaritan's Purse.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n
      5. Prizes<\/strong>\r\n
          \r\n
        1. Each Prize consists of one (1) $20 Hobby Lobby gift card, one (1) Operation Christmas Child camel Christmas ornament, and two (2) deflated soccer balls with pumps. Prize holds approximate retail value not to exceed $40. Shipping costs are included in the Prize.<\/li>\r\n
        2. If no eligible submissions are entered, no Prizes will be awarded. Samaritan's Purse reserves the right to make a Prize substitution in the event that force majeure events make the Prize impossible or inadvisable in the sole discretion of Samaritan's Purse. Force majeure as used herein means acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disaster, or other events of a similar nature or force.<\/li> \r\n
        3. Winners may not transfer or substitute a Prize except at Samaritan's Purse's sole discretion.<\/li>\r\n
        4. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. It is the sole responsibility of winners to provide information to Samaritan's Purse in order to facilitate receipt of a Prize, including completing and submitting any tax forms when necessary. It is also the sole responsibility of winners to satisfy any applicable reporting requirements.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
        5. Verification of Eligibility and Claiming of Prize<\/strong>\r\n
            \r\n
          1. Prize awards are subject to Samaritan's Purse's verification of winners' identity and eligibility.<\/li>\r\n
          2. To receive a Prize, winners must comply with instructions provided by Samaritan's Purse in the Direct Message notifying the winner of their selection. Winners will be asked to fill out a survey form with their mailing address in order to receive the Prize by mail. If the form is not received by Samaritan's Purse within three (3) calendar days of Samaritan's Purse's winner notification via Direct Message, the Prize is forfeited. Do not<\/span> include any address or personal information in your social media comments.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\r\n
          3. In the event of a disqualification, Samaritan\u2019s Purse, at its sole discretion, may award the Prize to an alternate Contestant.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
