This Week: Drop-off Sites Open for Operation Christmas Child<\/h1>\r\n\r\n

Boone, N.C., Nov. 15, 2021—<\/strong>As the Thanksgiving season approaches, many families and\r\n children are expressing gratitude by giving back to children in need around the world. For those who are\r\n including Operation Christmas\r\n Child<\/a> shoebox gifts as part of their holiday, more than 4,500 drop-off sites\r\n are now open.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Shoebox gifts prepared by generous donors and filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies may be\r\n dropped off now during National Collection Week, Nov. 15 - 22.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Operation Christmas Child has been collecting and delivering shoebox gifts to children worldwide for nearly\r\n three decades. This season, there\u2019s still time for individuals, families, and groups to transform empty\r\n shoeboxes into fun gifts. The project of Samaritan\u2019s Purse partners with local churches across the globe to\r\n deliver these tangible expressions of God\u2019s love to children in need.
