Official Sweepstakes Rules<\/h2>\r\n\r\n

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.<\/h3> \r\n \r\n
\r\n\r\n

By participating in this sweepstakes (the \u201cSweepstakes\u201d), you (\u201cEntrant\u201d) accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Sweepstakes Period:<\/strong> The Sweepstakes runs from August 29, 2024 to November 1, 2024 (\u201cSweepstakes Period\u201d).<\/li>\r\n\r\n
  2. Eligibility:<\/strong> The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who are 18 years or older and who are volunteer Project Leaders with Operation Christmas Child at the time of entry. You must comply with all Terms and Conditions. Employees, immediate family members of employees, and directors or contractors of Samaritan\u2019s Purse, or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are not eligible for prizes.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
  3. How to Enter:<\/strong>\r\n

    1. Survey:\r\n
        \r\n
      1. Complete a survey<\/a> and provide your contact information for a chance to win.<\/li>\r\n
      2. You may enter only once during the Sweepstakes Period.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n
      3. Alternative Means of Entry\r\n
          \r\n
        1. Email your first and last name, email address, and mailing address to OCCMedia@samaritan.org<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n
        2. You may enter only once during the Sweepstakes Period.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
        3. Intellectual Property:<\/strong> By entering the Sweepstakes, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, (a) you grant Samaritan\u2019s Purse a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of your entry, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, in furtherance of Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s non-profit purpose; (b) Samaritan\u2019s Purse is not obligated to provide any authorship or design credit to Entrants, although it may choose to do so; and (c) Samaritan\u2019s Purse shall not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with any uses of the entries.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
        4. Winner Selection and Odds:<\/strong>\r\n
            \r\n
          1. One (1) winner from the survey and emailed entries will be selected at random by Samaritan\u2019s Purse at the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period.<\/li>\r\n
          2. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period.<\/li>\r\n
          3. The winner will be notified by November 1, 2024. Notification will be made by Samaritan\u2019s Purse in writing via email.<\/li>\r\n
          4. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason, and winning entries will be the final decision of Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
          5. Prizes:<\/strong>\r\n
              \r\n
            1. There will be one (1) randomly selected winner.<\/li>\r\n
            2. The winner will receive the opportunity to have a shoebox recipient come speak at their church once in November or December 2024. Details such as the date and time will be coordinated between Samaritan\u2019s Purse and the winner. The prize includes all expenses for the speaker, which will be arranged and covered by Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n
            3. If no eligible entries are entered, no Prize will be awarded. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to make a Prize substitution in the event that force majeure events make the Prize impossible or inadvisable in the sole discretion of Samaritan\u2019s Purse. Force majeure as used herein means acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disaster, or other events of a similar nature or force.<\/li>\r\n
            4. The winner may not transfer or substitute the Prize except at Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s sole discretion.<\/li>\r\n
            5. The winner is responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to provide information to Samaritan\u2019s Purse in order to facilitate receipt of a Prize, including completing and submitting any tax forms when necessary. It is also the sole responsibility of the winner to satisfy any applicable reporting requirements.<\/li> \r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
            6. Verification of Eligibility and Claiming of Prize:<\/strong>\r\n
                \r\n
              1. Prize award is subject to Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s verification of the winner\u2019s identity and eligibility.<\/li>\r\n
              2. The winner will be notified via email. To receive the Prize, the winner must email OCCMedia@samaritan.org<\/a> to provide a valid mailing address within the continental U.S. If the confirmation email is not received by Samaritan\u2019s Purse within five (5) calendar days of Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s winner notification, the Prize is forfeited.<\/li>\r\n
              3. In the event of a disqualification, Samaritan\u2019s Purse, at its sole discretion, may award the Prize to an alternate Entrant.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n

                \r\n BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS SAMARITAN\u2019S PURSE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, EXPENSES, AND LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY USE OF YOUR ENTRY AS AUTHORIZED BY THESE OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n
