In addition to deploying doctors, dentists, and other medical professionals as volunteers, World Medical Mission serves as a lifeline to dozens of mission hospitals by providing millions of dollars\u2019 worth of critically needed equipment and supplies. In 2017, Samaritan\u2019s Purse sent more than 185 tons of needed supplies to facilities in 19 countries.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHORT-TERM VOLUNTEERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n        \tLos voluntarios a corto plazo sirven de dos semanas a un a\u00f1o en cualquiera de los remotos hospitales necesitados.\n        <\/li>\n<li>\n        \tVolunteers are self-funded and raise financial support to cover the cost of their trips.
