In Memory Of
Richard A. Mirenda - Swedesboro, NJ

1935-2024

Richard, or Pop Pop, as he was known to all, lived a long and happy life. He was a man who embodied a spirit of happiness, and always had a pleasant demeanor and outlook on life. He spent 64 years married to the great love of his life, Antoinette Marie (Gatto) Mirenda, who pre-deceased him by four years. He met Mom Mom at a High School dance and they never looked back!

Pop Pop raised two daughters, Susan (Vail) and Barbara (Williams-Scull), and a son Richard Jr. (who also pre-deceased his father). He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren (Dana Teague, Lauren Capone, Samantha Williams, Gina Williams, Tyler Scull, and Zachary Scull) and three great-grandchildren (Anthony Teague, Jeremy Teague, and Veronica Capone).

Pop Pop spent his later years living with Barbara and her husband Brad Scull. He had a soft spot for his "little boys", his daughter and son-in-laws three labrador retrievers. He enjoyed playing cards with the community men and making trips to the casino.

Pop Pop was raised Catholic and was a quiet man of faith. He loved God and knew that God loved him! While we are sad that he is gone, we are comforted by the fact that he is now home and reunited with his wife and his son in God's comforting presence.
