Thelma “Bunt” Gilstrap, age 96, of Pickens, South Carolina, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. She was born on September 4, 1928.

Bunt leaves behind a loving legacy, including three daughters, Judie Holt, June Walker (Sam), and Vickie Lanoue (Philip); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Bunt was preceded in death by her beloved husband, B.F. Gilstrap.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. Special thanks also go to the compassionate hospice caretakers at Cottingham Hospice House, whose kindness and care enriched Bunt’s life and brought comfort to her family during this difficult time.
