Responding to the California Fires
Our volunteers are serving residents of LA County in Jesus’ Name as they grieve the loss of life and homes.
Samaritan's Purse teams are serving hurting California communities in the aftermath of weeks-long wildfires that swept through LA County. We are responding in two locations to serve homeowners affected by the Eaton and Palisades Fires, which claimed dozens of lives and destroyed thousands of structures in recent weeks.
Our volunteers are serving the Eaton Fire area out of our base of operations at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena. We are responding to the Palisades Fire out of Cornerstone Church of West Los Angeles.
Hundreds of residents have asked for assistance and an equal many of volunteers have joined our efforts to help these homeowners recover keepsakes not claimed by the flames. As teams work to search through the ashes of people's homes, volunteers have opportunities to share the hope they have in Jesus Christ.
Please pray for these hurting families, our volunteers and staff, and the Billy Graham chaplains who are caring for homeowners in the midst of loss and grief.
