U.S. Disaster Relief teams are helping hurting homeowners recover personal property from the ashes.
Samaritan’s Purse COO Edward Graham recently visited Pacific Palisades, California, where January wildfires tragically destroyed thousands of structures. Since then, our U.S. Disaster Relief teams have helped over 700 Palisades homeowners recover personal property from the ashes.
“We want people to know that they’re not forsaken. They’re not forgotten,” Graham said. “God loves them so much that He sent His only Son Jesus.”
Over 1,300 volunteers have worked more than 25,000 hours to show this truth to the homeowners of Palisades. We praise God that through these efforts 41 people have accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior.
Watch the video above to see how we came to the aid of a mother and a daughter who both lost their homes to the fires.
Please continue to pray for our teams and those they serve who lost so much. Our hope is that they will be able to say to God, “We went through fire…yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance” (Psalm 66:12, ESV).
