They say eyes can be the windows to the soul. But despite how connected our world is today with modern technology, it’s easy to think of people on the other side of the world as another statistic, another faceless cause to support. Oftentimes, we’re never provided the opportunity to meet those who are also living in the same world as us—others who need Jesus just as much as we do.
At Samaritan’s Purse, we hold our commitment to “go and do likewise” (Luke 10) in Jesus’ Name on a deep, personal level as we continue serving around the world, both overseas and in the United States. Through all our programs—feeding, emergency relief, education, animals and agriculture, medical missions, and so much more—our goal is to build relationships with people on a human level so we may share the Gospel with them as we help their current needs.
One of our newer programs at Samaritan’s Purse is dedicated to helping vulnerable women in developing countries. From education to maternity health and even domestic abuse programs, we are actively helping this group in Jesus’ Name. There are no faceless statistics to us at Samaritan’s Purse. Each person we help is someone who is important and loved by God.
Below are the beautiful portraits of women we have helped through our many programs in Jesus’ Name. Thank you for your continued support as we reach out to real individuals just like these women who have many of the same hopes, fears, and needs as our own mothers, wives, sisters, aunts, and neighbors. Just look in their eyes and see for yourself.
