VOLUNTEER IN LA COUNTY PALISADES FIRE | EATON FIRE
Our teams are helping hurting homeowners recover belongings not claimed by the flames. As we walk alongside these residents who lost so much in those fiery weeks, we have the opportunity to share the hope found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
“The more people we have come and volunteer, the more homeowners we can serve,” said assistant program manager Lindsey Allen. “We’re serving homeowners who lost their homes, trying to recover any personal belongings that may have survived.”
We will need more volunteers to join our recovery efforts as homeowners continue to pick up the pieces of their lives. Hundreds of homeowners in Pacific Palisades and in Pasadena communities have requested assistance with recovery of belongings. As our teams help with the meticulous work of searching properties for keepsakes in the ashes, they are also providing a powerful ministry of presence for grieving people.
The more people we have come and volunteer, the more homeowners we can serve.
We praise God that, so far, 33 of the residents we’re serving have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Please continue to pray for hurting Californians as we serve them in Jesus’ Name.
