Samaritan's Purse responded to the COVID-19 crisis in Los Angeles County—deploying a 50-plus bed Emergency Field Hospital to Lancaster, California. In partnership with Antelope Valley Hospital, this field hospital provided desperately needed surge capacity—treating more than 160 patients. The L.A. County deployment marked the fifth Emergency Field Hospital response to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
