Gaza Relief Press Kit
Since July 26th, Samaritan's Purse has sent three relief flights—two 757 flights and one DC-8 flight, as a response to the ongoing suffering in the Middle East. These flights have carried a total of 65.9 US tons (59.7 metric tons) of ready-to-use supplemental food supplies for families in Gaza. These food packets, provided by MANA Nutrition in Georgia, are designed for supplemental feeding of malnourished families. Samaritan's Purse plans to send more flights to aid this response. These airlifts are part of our broader response to civilian suffering on both sides of the conflict in Israel and Gaza since October 7, 2023.
