  • Gaza 2025

    Since July 26, 2025, Samaritan’s Purse has sent 12 relief flights carrying more than 223 U.S. tons of ready-to-use supplemental and therapeutic food supplies for families in Gaza. These airlifts are part of our broader response to civilians suffering on both sides of the conflict in Israel and Gaza since October 7, 2023.

  • Gaza 2025

    Thousands of women and children have received food packets from distributions within Gaza. These food packets are designed for supplemental feeding of malnourished families.

  • Jamaica 2025

    Samaritan’s Purse airlifted more than 618,000 pounds of cargo to Jamaica in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, bringing relief supplies like shelter material, hygiene kits, solar lights, and water filters to communities in desperate need of assistance.

  • Jamaica 2025

    Water filtration systems set up on the island produced more than 1 million liters of water for those with no access to fresh water after Hurricane Melissa destroyed local infrastructure throughout the island.

  • Jamaica 2025

    Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 5 hurricane with 185 mph winds—the strongest hurricane on record to strike the island. It took the lives of more than 50 people and destroyed 90 percent of the roofs in the coastal community of Black River. Samaritan’s Purse responded by tarping more than 100 homes on the island and distributing more than 68,000 tarps with the help of local churches.

  • Sudan 2024

    Samaritan's Purse rushed food aid into southern Sudan where hundreds of thousands of displaced people are facing starvation.

  • Israel 2024

    Samaritan's Purse provided 22 ambulances to Israel's national ambulance and emergency services agency. Eight of the ambulances are armored to protect first responders and patients.

  • Vietnam 2024

    Just days after Typhoon Yagi struck Vietnam, Samaritan’s Purse provided residents with emergency equipment such as lifejackets, flashlights, and whistles.

  • Greensboro, NC 2024

    In 2024, the DC-8 carried more than 527,700 pounds of cargo on nine relief missions. The disaster assistance response team pictured prays before departing to meet needs in Brazil.

  • Brazil 2024

    The ministry sent 10 community filtration systems to provide clean water for those impacted by flooding in Brazil. Many of these systems, including the one pictured, were set up at local churches.

  • Brazil 2024

    In southern Brazil, over half a million people were forced from their homes after heavy rainfall resulted in deadly flooding and landslides that impacted 90 percent of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Samaritan’s Purse provided necessities for displaced people in the region.

  • Grenada 2024

    After Hurricane Beryl devastated multiple islands, Samaritan’s Purse sent over 375,000 pounds of critical relief supplies, including tarps, solar lights, water filters, hygiene kits, and an Emergency Field Hospital on our ministry aircraft.

    Utilizing helicopters, Samaritan’s Purse was able to deliver critical aid to hard-to-reach places across multiple islands.

    Samaritan’s Purse partnered with 283 churches to bring hope to those in crisis after Hurricane Beryl.
