Kentucky Flood Response
Samaritan's Purse has deployed staff and equipment to Pikeville, Kentucky following a historic storm system that unleashed deadly flooding across the Southeast. Tragically, more than fifteen lives have been lost and the destruction to local homes and businesses is severe. Samaritan’s Purse is working with local partners to provide generators, heaters, and winter supplies to those left facing freezing temperatures without power. In response to the devastation, teams of volunteers from Samaritan’s Purse are ministering to suffering families in Pikeville and the surrounding areas by removing debris, mudding out homes, and reminding them that God has not forsaken them during this tragic time.
