The Lord Jesus comforted His disciples saying:

(2) In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be. [John 14: 1-4]

The Lord Jesus fulfilled His promise to His servant, Ann Marie Wakim; on Friday, February 23, 2024. He came and took His servant, Ann Marie Wakim to Himself, so that where He is, there she will also be.

Ann and Jamil Wakim met for the first time in January 2012 and they became friends for life. Ann was baptized and joined Immanuel Baptist Church, Highland, California, August 18, 2013. Ann and Jamil were married August 30, 2014, in the Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel.

The Lord blessed their marriage and they volunteered to serve in the Ministry of Operation Christmas Child (OCC) year-round at Active Church, Yucaipa, California, serving the Inland Empire East Area. Ann was chosen as OCC Church Relations Coordinator, and Jamil was chosen as OCC Administrative Support Team Member. During their time with OCC, the Lord blessed the OCC Ministry in the Inland Empire East.

• From 2014 to 2023, Pathway Church, where Ann and Jamil maintained church membership, was the Flagship for the churches in Inland Empire East Area.
• In 2023 alone, Pathway packed 1,241 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
• Active Church, Yucaipa, the local drop-off location, collected 3,710 shoeboxes.

A Celebration of Life for Ann will be held at Pathway Church in Redlands, California, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. After the service, guests are invited to the Pathway Gathering Point for fellowship, food, and meeting family and friends of Ann.
