Robert “Bob” Goshorn, 73, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on February 8, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on November 1, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Robert and Mary Goshorn. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Harry Sawyer.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Peggy Goshorn (nee Sweemer); children, Andy Goshorn (Julie), and Eric Goshorn (Leslie); grandchildren, Jackson Goshorn, Will Goshorn, and Brooke Goshorn; siblings, Patty Polleys (Tim); nephew, Stephen (Chelsea) and nephew, Robert; and extended family.

Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family meant the world to him. He was devoted to his true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and walked his life as a true Christian. His wish would be that everyone would believe for eternal salvation. His inquisitive nature made him a lifelong learner. Bob’s kindness and friendliness left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel good with a word of encouragement.

At the request of the family, services will be held privately to honor Bob.
