Dennis Thompson (Opa), a proud veteran of the Army, passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 94. He was born in Miami, Florida, and lived in Florida all of his life.

He was a funeral director and in the National Guard, serving in Vietnam. He loved the Lord and served with Operation Christmas Child after his retirement.

Dennis is survived by his children, Chet and Terry Thompson and Sid and Suzy Webb, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A military service honoring his life will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, Florida 32311 at 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2022.
