In honor of Ellison's life, please join his friends in creating Ellison's Well to bring living water to a village in need.
"On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.'" (John 7:37–38)
On October 23, 2021, surrounded by his parents and maternal grandparents, Ellison McCraney Ingram went to be with his heavenly Father. His parents, Merrisa and Doug Ingram, were blessed with the birth of sweet Ellison on February 9, 2012, in Miramar Beach, Florida.
Ellison was the youngest of four boys, known as the four E's. His brothers, Eason (17), Eisley (15), and Ebner (12), loved him dearly. He had all three of them wrapped around his little finger.
God made Ellison special from day one. His bright smile, his love for Jesus, his love for others, his love for life, and his mischievous ways are all things that come to mind when one thinks of Ellison.
Ellison had a relationship with Jesus Christ and he made his faith known to others. He constantly talked to God. On the day of this tragedy, he expressed his faith more than once. His exact words in the midst of his pain was that "God can heal with a snap of a finger." Even though God chose to give Ellison eternal healing, rather than earthly healing, one can find comfort in knowing that he is with our Almighty Healer, God our Father, in heaven. There is no doubt that he entered the pearly gates with open arms as he saw his Gran Gran, his great-Granny, and Mr. Greg.
Ellison is survived by his loving parents, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A celebration of life will take place in February around Ellison's birthday.
