Faith Blood Tribbey - Hoschton, GA

Mrs. Faith Blood Tribbey, age 81, of Hoschton, Georgia, formerly of Coconut Creek, Florida, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Faith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, May 1,1943, to Mr. Kenneth Blood and Mrs. Sophie Kossen Blood who have preceded her in death.

Faith was a woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was the most supportive, loving, caring, and encouraging person to her family, friends, and anyone she met. She had a long running music ministry, Melodies of Faith, and ministered to many women’s groups and churches. She was also a registered nurse with the North Broward Hospital district in Florida for more than 30 years and touched the many lives of her patients and coworkers.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Melvin Tribbey; her son, Scott Tribbey; her daughter, Cheryl Hook; son-in-law, Mark Hook; four grandchildren, Rebekah Hook, Rachel Hook, Natalie Walcott, and Alexander Tribbey; and one great-grandchild, Waylon Chapman. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Kenneth and Jeri Blood, Lois Joy Olsen, Sharon and Dick Leigh, and Paul and DeeAnn Blood.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Ivy Creek Baptist Church, 2500 Ivy Creek Road NE, Buford, Georgia 30519. Services will also be available via livestream at www.ivycreekbaptist.org.
