Janet Erwin, age 81 of Zuni, Virginia, was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She passed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Norfolk after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jesse Erwin.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 63 years, J.M. Erwin, Sr.; sons, Jay (Joanna) of Zuni, Tommy (Sonya) of Suffolk, Chris (Rita) of Scottsville, and Sam (Melia) of Zuni. She leaves an amazing heritage of love and faith to her twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren whom she adored.

The family will welcome friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until noon, when we will celebrate and remember her life during the funeral service at noon. Interment will immediately follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
