On Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, Karen Pyle (nee Sliger), loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, went to be with our Lord at the age of 61.

Karen will be forever remembered with great love by her husband and best friend Michael; son Joshua; daughter-in-law Yera; mother Ruby Dell Sliger; siblings (James) Russell Sliger, Steven Sliger, and Merilee Allen; nieces and nephews; and dear friends and neighbors. Karen set an example for all of us to follow in knowing and following Jesus.

She was a native of Cookeville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Putnam County Senior High School and Tennessee Technological University. Karen was a longtime resident of the Mount Juliet area for the past 30 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 2, 2019, at the First Baptist Church, 735 N Mount Juliet Road, Mount Juliet, Tennessee, 37122, with visitation from 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. followed by remembrance and service from 10:30 a.m.–11:15 a.m. Food and fellowship will be provided at the church facilities at the conclusion of the service.
