In Memory Of
Keith Wayne Homrighausen - Aurora, CO

Keith Wayne Homrighausen, 49, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, in Centennial, Colorado. He was born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on February 29, 1972.

God graciously gifted him to his loving adoptive parents, Lewis and Andrea Homrighausen, of Louviers, Colorado, on May 22, 1972. Three years later, God saw fit to bless him with a baby sister, Kim Homrighausen Anderson, who was adopted April of 1975.

He attended Plum Creek Elementary, Castle Rock Junior High, and Douglas County High School. Upon completion of high school, he obtained a Fire Science Degree from Red Rocks Community College. He married Ann Smith of Tonopah, Nevada, on June 21, 1997, in Denver, Colorado. He was very proud of the time he spent with the Louviers Volunteer Fire Department. A man of many interests, he started and owned his own business, Lab Rats, providing services to orthodontists in the metro area. While continuing to run his business, he served as a guard with the Department of Corrections. Most recently, he was an owner/operator, transporting precast concrete pieces to construction sites.

Keith lived in Colorado his whole life, where he enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos. He loved swimming and water skiing. He enjoyed muscle cars, engines, trucks, and driving fast. Most of all, he loved playing with his kids. He loved playing board games, video games, watching movies, and even listening to music. He especially doted on his new granddaughter, Baby Rose. He was a great provider for the family. He served faithfully most of his adult life at the local church where his family attended. He also loved trading “Dad” jokes with his kids.

Keith is survived by his wife, Ann; children Jonah, Amelia, Elijah, and Micah and his wife Magdalene; parents Lewis and Andrea; sister Kim and her husband Harold; and a large loving extended family.

Philippians 4:8 (NIV): "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
