In Memory Of
Lorraine Bausch - Yardley, PA

Lorraine C. Bausch of Yardley went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, with her beloved husband and family by her side.

Born in Fox Chase, Philadelphia, Lorraine was the beloved wife of 72 years to Walter J. Bausch, Sr., and daughter of the late Albert and Catherine G. Tomes Wunder. She was predeceased by four brothers.

Lorraine’s hospitality was a hallmark of her life. She possessed exceptional culinary skills and was an accomplished cook and baker, who enjoyed sharing her unique and delicious recipes with family and friends. Her peach custard pie was particularly popular! She loved art, decorating, and interior design, and was superbly adept at “putting it all together.” She was a meticulous homemaker.

Lorraine had great perseverance and determination in pursuing projects, goals, and challenges. When she had physical limitations, she continued to serve others by being readily available, especially to talk to her children and grandchildren about their concerns and to hold them up in prayer. Lorraine will live in our memories and be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her beloved husband, Lorraine is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Walter J. Bausch, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Levittown, David W. Bausch and his wife Maureen of Jamison, and Karen L. Nizar and her husband Howard of Bakersfield, California. Lorraine is also survived by seven dear grandchildren, Adam Bausch (Antoinette), Alison Leigh, Bradley Bausch, Jonathan Bausch (Cara), Jonathan Nizar (Krystal), and Christina and Jessica Nizar; and five great-grandchildren, Julianna, Jack and Luke Bausch, and Isaiah and Evan Nizar.
