Marie Vitale, 90, of Loudonville, passed away on April 15, 2023, in North Carolina. She was born in Caiazzo, Italy, to the late Francisco and Concetta Diana.

She worked for the State of New York for many years. She loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved going to Yankee games and watching wrestling.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Amelio.

Maria is survived by her loving son, John Vitale (Marina). She will also be missed by her granddaughter, Gabriella; and her brother, Primo Diana (the late Emma). She was the beloved aunt to, Frank “Cicci” Diana, Sergio Diana (Beth), Rosemary Diana, Stephen Diana, Michael Diana; and great-aunt, to Matthew Diana.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 9:00 A.M.–11:00 A.M. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road. Colonie, NY 12205. A service will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
