In Memory Of
Mark Cornwell - Copperas Cove, TX

After retiring in January 2021, from 47 years as a long haul truck driver, Mark planned on moving from Durham, California, to Copperas Cove, Texas, and volunteering his time and skills in driving for Samaritan's Purse. This was in an effort to help with their Disaster Relief program, just as he had received help from them after losing his home in the Camp Fire in Paradise, California, on November 8, 2018.

However, three weeks after his retirement, he was diagnosed with cancer and spent 11 months battling and courageously fighting until the very end. He lost his battle on January 7, 2022.

His family would love to keep his passion alive and donate to Samaritan's Purse in his memory.
