Patricia Ann Hahn, 83 of DesPlaines, Illinois, passed away July 10, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Alfred and Lolita (Rockensock) Clausen.

As a young bride and mother Patricia enjoyed making a home, cooking for her family and
raising her children. She planned the family’s vacations including her favorite, the yearly trip to Lake Nancy in Wisconsin. She re-entered the workforce settling at Polychrome where she was an executive secretary for a group of salesmen for 20 years.

In retirement Patricia used her time to volunteer for many causes near to her heart. She
volunteered at her church, The Orchard, in Arlington Heights as well as the Danish Home in
Chicago. She also took care of her neighbors, shopping for them and taking them on excursions.

Above all else, she loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took them on many “Grandma’s Adventures”, the best being a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. Patricia was also part of a walking group that met a couple of times a week as well as a card group that met frequently.

In her later years as she slowed down, she enjoyed being her grandchildren’s biggest
cheerleader. She loved to hear about their lives, teaching them how to play cards, and bringing the word of God to each of them.

Patricia is survived by her four children, daughters, Kathleen Hahn, Cindy Sansone (Mark) and sons, Michael Hahn (Denise) and David Hahn. Her grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Jessica, Robert, and Stephanie as well as her four great-grandchildren.

A service will be at G.L. Hills in DesPlaines on July 25, 2024. Visitation 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. and a service at 11:00 a.m.
