Paul Ogwyn Morgan of Dexter, Missouri, the son of the late Marion and Lois (Clements) Morgan was born in Acorn Ridge, Missouri, on April 6, 1943, and went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2023, at the age of 80 years.

Paul lived in the Southeast Missouri area all of his life, was of the Christian Faith, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter. Most of Paul’s work life was spent in various businesses including Dexter Ready Mix Concrete, a Gravel Business, and Farming.

He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, artifact history, Genealogy, working on the farm, and also enjoyed talking, because he never met a stranger in his coffee shops he frequented. He had many a story to tell, and loved spending time with family and friends, always with a smile on his face. Paul served as a Council Member for many years with the University of Missouri Extension Office and a Board member with the New Lisbon Road District.

Paul is survived by one son, Scott (Linda) Morgan of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Paula Wilson of Evansville, Indiana; three grandchildren: Abbie Wilson (Nate) Smith, Keaton (Jessica) Altom, Alex Wilson; close personal friend, Connie Crank, as well as a host of family and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Marvin Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 11:00 A.M.–1:00 P.M., at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri, with the Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Ray Rowland of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
