Rebuilding After Hurricane Helene

Samaritan’s Purse is constructing hundreds of new homes for families whose houses were left uninhabitable after Hurricane Helene. We also are replacing hundreds of mobile homes. Furniture and materials assistance is available as well.

In addition, we are providing grants to churches that were damaged by the hurricane.

Our U.S. Rebuild staff works with teams of volunteers to construct or repair houses to make properties livable again after natural disasters. This is provided free of charge through the generosity of our donors.

Types of Assistance

• Manufactured home replacement
• Repair of hurricane damage to stick-built homes (wooden frame houses that were built on-site) owned as primary residence
• Rebuild of primary residence houses destroyed by Hurricane Helene (stick-built construction)
• Building materials assistance grants
• Furniture assistance (replacement for qualified renters and owners)
• Church grants for hurricane repairs
• Grants to assist with repairing driveways, culverts, and bridges

To be eligible, you must own the home and it must be your primary residence.

Priority will be given to homeowners with no insurance or who are underinsured. Applicants must also fall between minimum and maximum income levels.
