An Independence Day Message from Franklin Graham

July 4, 2026 • United States

Graham marks America's 250th year with a special message from Washington D.C.

While in our nation’s capital to commemorate America’s 250th year, Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham remembers the struggle of the founding fathers whose singular vision was freedom. Graham also offers a prayer for our nation and for God’s continued blessing on this land.

Independence Day marks the final day of his 50-day prayer campaign—One Nation Under God.

For the 50 days leading up to Independence Day, Graham asked one pastor from each of the 50 states to lead everyone in praying for the nation and the prayers were posted daily on his social media platforms and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website.

“I’m thankful for each pastor who was a part of this and for everyone who joined us in praying for the last 50 days. It is my prayer that our nation would turn to Jesus Christ and be One Nation Under God,” Graham said. “Just because we have reached the final day of our 50 days of prayer does not mean this is the end. This is just the beginning! Every day, we need to be praying for our families, our churches, our leaders, and this nation. God is the One who has kept our country through every storm, and we must continue to call on His Name as we face the days to come.”

The 50 prayer videos from all 50 pastors are now available on OneNationUnderGod.com and feature prayers for issues facing our homes, schools, government, and society.
