Samaritan’s Purse responded within hours after the enormous superstorm made landfall in late October. We began bringing physical help and spiritual comfort to homeowners affected by the hurricane out of our bases in New Jersey and New York.We have worked on over 1,000 homes.

Toms River is one of three locations in New Jersey where Samaritan’s Purse initially established bases to provide hope to families impacted by Sandy. A fourth base was set up in Nassau County in New York.
The storm’s fierce winds and rain brought flooding and widespread destruction.
