Samaritan’s Purse volunteers are hard at work repairing homes destroyed by catastrophic flooding in eastern Kentucky.
Historic flooding early last year left hundreds of homes damaged or destroyed in Breathitt County, Kentucky. Samaritan’s Purse quickly responded and our volunteers served hurting families in Jesus’ Name as they removed waterlogged walls and flooring, ruined belongings, and cleared homes of other debris. We praise God that our teams helped dozens of homeowners in eastern Kentucky and saw 14 people receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Now, our teams have moved into the long-term recovery phase of this response and they are working hard to get displaced families back into their homes. We anticipate replacing up to 10 manufactured homes and serving several additional families by providing major home repairs.

Please pray for our teams as they continue demonstrating God’s love to families in Kentucky who are still struggling to recover after the devastating flooding.
