Our DC-8 plane airlifted materials, equipment, and staffers to northern Africa.
On Dec. 10, the Samaritan’s Purse DC-8 left Greensboro, North Carolina, headed for Sudan with an Emergency Field Hospital and 19 of our team members on board.
Franklin Graham posted on Facebook:
“So many people are suffering in this country. Due to the civil war, millions have had to flee their homes, and reports state that 25 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance. Samaritan’s Purse has been working here for many years, but this field hospital is a way we can begin to help meet the overwhelming medical needs in at least one area. We are grateful for the support we have received from the Sudanese government to pave the way for us to be there. Please pray for the people of Sudan and for our team.”
