Our teams are assisting homeowners in the wake of terrible flooding.
Rivers and creeks in Nashville, Tennessee, were near their highest levels in more than a decade after torrential rainfall triggered flash flooding throughout the city. Scores of homes were damaged. Sadly, at least seven deaths have been reported.
We have staff members on the ground alongside one of our disaster relief units—a tractor trailer filled with equipment and supplies.
Samaritan’s Purse volunteers are going out to serve hurting homeowners in Jesus’ Name. They are assisting families with tasks such as removing waterlogged belongings and ripping out drywall and insulation.
