SAMARITAN’S PURSE BRINGS PHYSICAL RELIEF AND HOPE TO HURTING PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD

Samaritan’s Purse helps men, women, and children who are victims of war, poverty, disaster, and famine. We work in more than 100 countries, addressing critical needs such as food, clean water, shelter, and medicine. We also help hurting people in the United States, including wounded U.S. soldiers and their spouses, and homeowners devastated by natural disasters.

In this our 50th year, we responded to the global pandemic by setting up Emergency Field Hospitals in Italy, the Bahamas, and New York City to care for those suffering with COVID-19. We also met urgent needs in Honduras following Hurricanes Eta and Iota, and provided warm winter clothing and food to those in need following armed conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In addition, we helped hurting homeowners after wildfires on the West Coast, tornadoes in Tennessee, and hurricanes along the Gulf Coast of the United States. Millions of children heard the Gospel when they received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift. Boys and girls in need also were given life-saving heart surgeries through our Children’s Heart Project. In all of these situations, and many more responses, our goal was the same—to meet physical needs and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

You can donate here and help us take the hope of the Gospel to the desperate, oppressed, and impoverished. Give before 12 A.M. January 1 (local time) for a 2020 receipt.

Charity Navigator gives us a four-star rating—their highest.

Samaritan’s Purse is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity.
