Houston, Texas, homeowner Patricia Carter gives glory to God for HIs provision and thanks Samaritan’s Purse volunteers who helped clean out her house after it was damaged by a severe winter storm.
Samaritan’s Purse is on the ground in Texas helping families in Houston and Austin recover from winter storms and record-low temperatures that cut off access to power, water and heat for thousands of families. Communities have returned to find flooded homes due to burst pipes and downed trees in the wake of the unusual weather.
So far more than 130 Samaritan’s Purse volunteers from across the country have helped 65+ Texas families remove waterlogged drywall and insulation, clear debris, and salvage personal belongings. We thank God for how He is working through our teams as we provide physical aid to people like Patricia while reminding them of the hope found in Jesus Christ.
