Catherine Smith Ross passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 7, 2022.

Cathy was born on November 9, in Miami, Florida, and raised by loving parents, the late Glenn and Sylvia Smith. She graduated from Hialeah High School in 1973. Cathy married the love of her life on December 4, 1976. They welcomed a daughter, Michelle, on November 10, 1979.

Keith and Cathy lived a wonderful life, making lifelong friends in the different cities where they lived. After retirement, Cathy spent her time traveling with Keith, being Namommy to Carter and Millar, and more recently pottery making.

Cathy meant so much to so many and was a dedicated and loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She held an unwavering faith in God and lived her life by example.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Keith; daughter, Michelle Powell; and son-in law, Chris Powell; and grandchildren, Carter and Millar. She recently connected with half-siblings, Bob Hudson, Sonny Snowder, Charles Nelson Hudson, and Dawn Callaway.
