In Memory Of
Marcela Narvaez - New York, NY

With both sorrow and hope in our hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Marcela Narváez, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the age of 94. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose love and devotion to the Gospel touched countless lives.

Born on December 2,1929, in Manatí, Puerto Rico, she lived a life rooted in her commitment to Holy Scripture. Her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and compassion was simply her reaction in loving and honoring God through her weaknesses and flaws. She was a woman of prayer, humility, and of boundless generosity, known for giving selflessly to family, friends,
and strangers alike. She taught us the importance of trusting God, even during difficult times, and encouraged us to always seek His wisdom. Relying on Scripture was evident and was a guiding light for our family. She instilled the values of love, forgiveness, hope, and showed us what it meant to walk humbly with God. This will remain with us always.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, Manuel, her three sons, Jose, Felipe and Efren. While our hearts ache at her absence, we rejoice knowing that she is at peace with
her Heavenly Father. She is survived by two children, Loida and Juan (his wife Daisy); six grandchildren, Raquel, Madeline, Damaris, Jillian, Allan and Andrew; and seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kelsey, Aaron, Kimberly, Daniel, David and Grace, all of whom carry her legacy of faith and love.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. at Greenwich Funeral Home, located at 199 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory for the beautiful life she shared with us. A burial service is scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwich Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, New York.

Although you have gone from this world, we know we will see you again in God’s kingdom. We thank God for the blessing of your love, wisdom, and faith. Until we meet again, we hold you in our hearts. “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23)
