The purpose of the Apprenticeship Program is to develop talent and mentor future Samaritan’s Purse staff.
Apprenticeships kick-start a career through hands-on learning from an expert in their field.
Los aprendices tendrán la oportunidad de construir rápidamente una red profesional, mientras pulen sus conocimientos técnicos. Después del entrenamiento, los aprendices colaborarán en la difusión de los proyectos del ministerio.
Apprenticeship opportunities equip professionals for future leadership within Samaritan’s Purse.
Por medio de presentaciones de ejecutivos de alto nivel, simulacros y proyectos, los aprendices crecerán en capacidad que los definirá como profesionales de Samaritan's Purse y obtendrán el conocimiento y herramientas necesarias para servir de una forma efectiva en cualquier lugar que sean asignados.
Apprenticeship Tracks
- Programs: Develop and practice fundamental skills of managing long-term relief programming through program proposal development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Operations: Support field-based programming through procurement, vendor vetting and management, logistics, base management, asset management, and warehousing.
- Finance: Practice accounting disciplines in a field-based context through reviewing and managing annual program budgets, ensuring cash flow and transactions are processed according to policy, preparing financial statements and projections, overseeing staff payroll, and supporting audits.
- Security: Research, develop, implement, and maintain contextualized international security assessments and recommendations based on political, geographic, and cultural variables.
Once selected, apprentices will earn a full-time salary with benefits and be placed on a career track based on previous work experience, academic background, and natural aptitude.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate:
