Samaritan’s Purse launched a five-day campaign in March to raise enough support to drill five wells for struggling families in South Sudan. We thought 5 Wells in 5 Days was a challenging goal. But God proved to be much bigger than our vision. He moved in the hearts of our donors, and we met the goal on the first day. Before noon on the second day, the total doubled. Rather than set a new goal, we thought we should let Him set the number and see what happened by the end of the week. We are amazed and thankful at the final total of over $240,000–nearly five times the original goal! The new wells can transform entire communities and reach those in need with clean water and the promise of a new life in Jesus Christ.
