[+]Reveal Answer

ANSWER: False! We accept shoebox gifts at our headquarters in Boone, North Carolina, year-round and sometimes have special shipments in the spring and summer for boxes we receive outside of National Collection Week. You can also Build a Shoebox Online any time of the year. We’ve even made it possible to challenge friends so they can join you.

The requested shipping donation for each box is $_____.

A) $25
B) $10
C) $9
D) $12

[+]Reveal Answer

ANSWER: B! A donation of $10 per box is critical to transport your gift and deliver it into the hands of a child in need. That’s about 1,000 miles per $1 to ship a shoebox to Mongolia! This donation makes it possible for Samaritan’s Purse to deliver each box from the person who packed it to a child who will receive it thousands of miles away. We do accept all shoebox gifts regardless of whether they include the shipping donations. You can put your $10 donation check in your shoebox, or donate online through Follow Your Box and discover the destination of your shoebox gift.
