Ways to Get Involved
-
Voluntarios de tiempo corto
Mission hospitals around the world depend on assistance from Christian medical professionals who volunteer to provide life-saving care to the sick in Jesus’ Name. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and others on short-term assignment can follow in the footsteps of the Great Physician as they provide patient care in a resource-limited environment, relieve overwhelmed full-time hospital staff, and help educate the next generation of national healthcare workers in the country they are serving.
-
Programa de post-residencia
This is a two-year program which funds Christian physicians and dentists who have been called to a career in medical missions. We provide logistical and financial support while you serve alongside career medical missionaries. Immediately following your residency, we will place you at a mission hospital where you will serve within your specialty.
-
Tecnología biomédica
Our technicians travel to dozens of mission hospitals and clinics to install, repair, and maintain a variety of medical and laboratory equipment. They also train staff at these medical facilities in the operation and ongoing maintenance of that equipment.
-
Equipos de especialistas
Our specialty teams aim to provide both physical and spiritual healing through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. In collaboration with partner mission hospitals, we offer life-transforming surgery in the areas of orthopedics (acute and chronic, trauma, and injury), obstetric fistula, and urology.

We Bring Christian Care to a Hurting World
Doctors, nurses, dentists, and other medical experts follow in the footsteps of the Great Physician as they provide patient care in resource-limited environments through World Medical Mission. They support local mission hospitals for weeks or months at a time, relieving overwhelmed full-time hospital staff. They also help educate the next generation of local healthcare workers in the countries where they are serving.
Medical Ministry in Jesus' Name
As patients walk through the darkest times of their lives, World Medical Mission volunteers have the opportunity to pray and share the Gospel with them, ministering to spiritual needs as they work to treat physical ailments.
Relieving Weary Healthcare Worker
Local doctors serving in our partner hospitals around the world are often overwhelmed, facing burnout due to high patient numbers and the severity of the medical conditions they see on a daily basis. All this often comes without periods of rest or time away for themselves. They are drained physically, emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually, and they are in dire need of a break to recharge and refocus.
Training the Next Generation of Medical Professionals
The Number of Patients Is Overwhelming. Medical Staff Are Exhausted. The Needs Are Great.

No solo tratarás enfermedades médicas y heridas, sino que serás una luz de Jesucristo y traerás esperanza a los que sufren.
