Restoring Health and Hope Among Mothers Worldwide
Through Samaritan's Purse health and nutrition training for new and expecting mothers, families are growing stronger and communities are hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Many mothers in poverty around the world have trouble finding enough food, water, and hours in the day to care for their children's needs.
Scarce resources can often lead to sparse diets that make mothers and their young children vulnerable to disease.
Samaritan's Purse is working to alleviate these problems by training and educating mothers on basic nutrition, hygiene, and infant care.
This also provides opportunities for us to share the hope found only in Jesus Christ. And many lives are being transformed as mothers and their families respond and receive the Good News of our Lord and Savior.
We praise God for many changed lives, and we invite you to join us in praying that many more would come to saving faith.
"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you." (Isaiah 49:15).
