Samaritan's Purse celebrates the opening of the Mid-Atlantic Ministry Center in Windsor Mill, Maryland.

Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham traveled to our Mid-Atlantic Ministry Center in Windsor Mill, Maryland, near Baltimore, to dedicate the new property to the Lord’s service. They encouraged staff and volunteers there who are busy processing Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts for distribution to children in need around the world.

Samaritan’s Purse has been processing Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts in the Baltimore area for more than 10 years. Graham expressed gratitude to God that we now have a permanent facility of our own.

“I believe when God gives you something, you give it back to Him,” Graham said. “So today, we dedicated the Samaritan’s Purse Mid-Atlantic Ministry Center back to Him. Only God could do this, and we thank Him as we send each shoebox in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ. We want the children of the world to know the true meaning of Christmas.”

Please pray for God’s blessing over the many volunteers and the shoebox gifts they’re preparing. Pray especially for many children in need around the world to experience the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.

SUPPORT
Operation Christmas Child Through Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with millions of boys and girls in more than 100 countries each year. Many of these children have never before received a present or heard the true meaning of Christmas—until they open a gift-filled shoebox from a person like you. Some people are not able to give the $10 per shoebox we request for shipping and related costs. By adopting a shoebox, you can partner with them to deliver the Gospel and help "bring salvation to the ends of the earth" (Acts 13:47, ESV).
