6 Tips to Know Before You Register

We thought you'd like to know these helpful tips before you register to volunteer at an Operation Christmas Child Processing Center.

Save the Date for Registration

Save the date to sign up as soon as registration opens. Spots fill up quickly, so be sure to contact us as soon as your registration opens, especially if you have a large group! If the time slot you want is full, please search for another slot that is open.

1

Group Leaders—Create a Volunteer Profile

Set up your volunteer profile, if you don't already have one. This will save you time when you reserve your time slot.

2

Ensure All Volunteers are Ages 13+

We require one adult chaperone for every four youth (13‐17).

3

Fill Out Volunteer Waiver Online to Use FAST PASS

Complete the waiver online before you volunteer. If everyone in your group does so, it will allow you to check in using FAST PASS. (Think TSA pre-check, but free!) Your FAST PASS will be in the confirmation email sent to the leader of the group.

4

Adjust Reservations as Needed

Update your reservation and group number online as soon as possible if group members drop out or someone joins at the last minute. This will get you through check-in easily. Be advised, there is no guarantee that your group will be able to serve in the same station at the processing center, but we will do our best to keep your group together. We want you to have a great volunteer experience!

5

Plan a Time to Arrive

Please plan for your group to arrive on time. We cannot guarantee spots will be available the hours before or after your time slot, and we want everyone who signed up to be able to serve.
